We just received information about a bill that’s been introduced, HB17.
HB 17 wants to “force” insurance companies to pay for Plan B (Day after pill) and a 12 month supply of contraception to women.
Here we go again, more population control and more forced govt regulations on private companies.
The creators of this bill believe that a person is not a person if the mother hasn’t taken a pregnancy test to confirm she’s pregnant. They’re saying that Emergency Contraception is not abortion.
Our source says that they need ENORMOUS prolife feedback on this to stop it.
Please take the time to write to Rep.mike.prax@akleg.gov and also to HHSS@akleg.gov to ask them to vote NO on HB 17.
Some talking points:
1) Any pill that ends life at any stage IS an abortion!
2) Birth Control pills are not safe and they do allow conception, just not implantation. They also can raise the risk for breast cancer.
3)Alaska is not having enough children to replace our population as it is, the last thing we need to do is stop more pregnancies. We should be encouraging births!
4)The government is overstepping their boundaries by “forcing” private industries to do anything. That’s not the role of the govt.
5) A baby in the first trimester is just as human as any other age of human life.
Below is the picture of an unborn 1st trimester baby they say isn’t human.
